The 8th Mini Print International de Cadaqués was held at Taller Galeria Fort, Cadaqués, from 1 July to 11 September 1988, before travelling to the Capella de l’Antic Hospital de la Santa Creu, Barcelona, from 21 December 1988 to 7 January 1989. The eighth edition brought together 508 artists presenting 1,369 miniprints from 47 countries, continuing the exhibition’s development as an international forum for contemporary printmaking. An international jury selected twelve prize-winning artists, while the catalogue emphasised the increasing diversity of print techniques and the continuing interaction between traditional processes and newer technologies, including laser and digitally assisted printing.
