Girls Friendly Society Lodge (GFS), Adelaide, SA was located at 59 Pennington Terrace, North Adelaide. The Girls Friendly Society was founded in England in 1875 and in South Australia in 1879, the first FGS Lodge opened in 1913 in Kermode Street, North Adelaide to provide a home for country girls working or studying in the city. The Lodge closed in 1975.
