Artist's Statement:
From Draw Like Da Vinci: This anatomical drawing is a true ‘still-life’ of wet specimens preserved in formaldehyde. The muscles are extended beyond their natural length and tend to sag following the dissection process, which removes their supporting sheaths and membranes (fascia).
