Artist's Statement:
A huntsman spider pursues a Christmas beetle along the one-sided surface of a Möbius strip. The whole sculpture including the chain is carved from one piece of wood. First carving using newly acquired Pfeil tools at the Red Cedar Workshops under Michael Gill, an expert in woodcarving and on Australian timbers.
