Artist's Statement:

From Draw Like da Vinci: Growth is a twisting, spiralling movement that da Vinci emphasised in his drawing of the Star of Bethlehem plant. The leaves of da Vinci's plant resemble waves of water with undercurrents or a whorl on the crown of a head — Leda's got the whole world in this whorl even if she is having a bad day.
