Brahms: String Sextet No. 1 / Sextet

The slow movement from Brahms: String Sextet No. 1, one of my favourite pieces of music, inspired this painting. I used it as an excuse to paint my three children practising their string instruments, wearing woollen dressing gowns during winter. They are duplicated to form a sextet.
